Accelerated Reader

During the month of September the class will be working on an AR reading challenge. The goal is to earn at least 6 points by September 30th. Tyler and Hunter sit at the computers in our classroom as they get ready to take AR tests over the books they just completed. Great job you two!

Rock Star of the Week

Technology in the 5th Grade

On Friday we worked with Mrs. Wertenberger to get all of the students' accounts up and running. This week we should be able to go to the lab and create our "Wordle" name projects. I will post them as soon as we get them completed. We have also been busy using our interactive Promethean board throughout the day. In the picture Mackenzie is checking in by moving her name to the appropriate location. Also, be sure to use our class website to access links for social studies and reading practice.

Snowball Fight in School?

Danny and Tyler quickly look for a get-to-know-you snowball before someone else in the class finds it.  The class learned some interesting things about each other with this activity. Someone enjoys karate; another is a Cubs fan, and some one's favorite color is lime green.
